I have dealt with Lynette for more than 8 years and had her act as counsel for more than 100 real estate transactions. As an agent, reliability and knowledge are the two things we have to know are in place when you handle large transactions involving people's life savings or largest asset. In representing clients, nickels and dimes add up fast when transacting property. The law requires that we offer clients a choice or representation but 99% of the time my clients would ask who is the best representation at the best price. I always offered to pay legal fees out of my commission regardless of who my clients chose and most of the time the clients would choose Lynette on recommendation. Her fees are extremely reasonable, often less than her peers and never varied. Lynette is competent, knowledgeable, comprehensive and dedicated. Once she is retained as counsel, every aspect of each transaction went smoothly and flawlessly. I can think of a number of occasions where my clients, and the clients on the other side, were so impressed with her handling that both sides distributed her contact information on referral. If you are looking for an attorney to handle your real estate transaction, you can stop looking and know you are in the right hands the minute your sign the engagement document.

A great counselor in every meaning of the word. Here's quick synopsis of our experience. Leading up to closing, and all through attorney review, Lynette worked to ensure our interests were met. She coordinated several amendments to our purchase agreement to allow us to add multiple customizations to our new construction property, and she worked incredibly smoothly with all sides. Then, through absolutely no fault of Lynette, our financing unexpectedly fell through because of an overlooked technicality by the bank. Lynette kept us calm throughout the process. She helped us work with two lenders to find our replacement loan. When one of the lenders was slow, she used her extensive connections to speed up the process. She also kept the seller and the seller's attorney apprised and committed to continuing to working with us, rather than walking away. Now, 100% because of Lynette, we are in our dream home! Her skills are truly masterful, and we are convinced that it was all because of Lynette that the deal was saved and went through. I cannot recommend her enough to anyone looking for an attorney in the Chicago area. Her combination of strong advocacy, valuable experience, and extensive knowledge of the ins and outs of the Chicago real estate market are absolutely unmatched.

Lynette was recommended to me by my real estate agent and I can't say how pleased I was with the service I received. As a first time homebuyer, I had a lot of apprehensions both practically (there's lots of paperwork) and, admittedly, emotionally. I didn't know what I didn't know and that was intimidating. As a first-timer, I wanted to understand each step and needed some extra hand-holding. Knowing this, Lynette was there to explain documents and processes before I even asked. I felt very confident with Lynette by my side throughout the buying process. I understand there were some challenges in working with the seller, but I never once caught wind (until after closing) or felt the pressure my team felt because of Lynette's professionalism! She sat through an unusually long (~4 hours) closing process (due to aforementioned challenges) and remained cool and professional through it all. I am now several months past closing and happily residing in my new home and questions still come up (warranties, taxes, etc.) and, without fail, Lynette responds to every email within mere hours and encourages me to call and continue to draw on her for support. THIS, to me, is where I am most impressed. I'm hoping anyone in search of a real estate lawyer takes some time to give Lynette call consultation call. Very professional, easily reached when a consultation was necessary, and for those buying or selling, pay attention to her advice, it is as good as you're going to find. If she recommends it, do it. Ask questions if you like, but heed her advice. Fees were very reasonable, and well worth the money spent. If you're in the area and buying or selling, give her a call, you won't regret it.
